The Clear and Defend Plus Facial Wash is a refreshing formula that helps to cleanse the skin, encouraging a clarified, more radiant look. Neutrogena’s face wash is powered by a 4% AHA/PHA blend that helps to even the skin tone and soothe the appearance of blemishes.
A 2% concentration of glycolic acid seeks to minimise the appearance of discolouration caused by blemishes. Gluconolactone, a resurfacing agent, aims to refine the skin, while salicylic acid helps to remove excess sebum. Discover a balanced-looking complexion with this revitalising face wash.
- Application: Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly. Start with one application daily, then increase to two if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains an AHA that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

smoother, clearer skin
I've used this face wash for a few weeks now and have found my face is definitely smoother and clearer. As we go into winter I'm finding it a bit too drying for my skin, but I'm sure in summer it would be absolutely perfect. I've also been using it on my keratosis pilaris on my arms, and they're definitely smoother too! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Ok cleanser
I really wanted to like this product as it is unscented and good for spot prone skin but I don’t feel like it has done much for my skin. It does leave my face feeling clean but it doesn’t foam up as much as I’d like and it left my my face feeling quite itchy. Hasn’t cleared my spots that well

Brilliant Cleanser

Clear skin successs
The face wash helped keep spots under control, however, it initially dried out my skin and made it feel quite tight. After a few uses, my skin regulated and it did a great job of keeping my skin clear. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Leaves skin smooth and clean
Great product with powerful active ingredients. Your skin will say thank you. Fragrance free formula and acids leave your skin super clean and smooth. Careful if you have open wound or active pimple it can cause very mild burning sensation. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Very good and removes makeup’
I use this product as part of my double cleanse. I tend to use it first as it removes makeup very well! I cleanse for about 60 seconds and then use another. I like the feeling of this cleanser and also it’s not really scented which is always a bonus. It would be a little more hydrating but that’s not really an issue. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
