I’ve been using Olaplex for about a year now and this is one of my favourites even my hairdresser has said what amazing condition my hair is in especially as I’ve been coloring it forever so I decided to go for the supersize bottle even after a first use you can feel the difference my hair is so my softer and shiner I use this along with no6 and no7 but this can be used as a stand alone although it’s pricey it lasts ages so per month it works out quite cost effective Definitely worth trying

For a few years my hair hasn't grown much past my shoulders, just because it's been snapping off more than its been growing. At the start of lockdown I decided to invest in Olaplex and it's the best decision I've ever made! My hair looks and feels so much thicker, and it's grown so much I've been able to have 3 inches off and it looks blunt... my hair has not looked blunt for years, it's been so straggly at the ends! It says you apply to damp hair before shampoo, but i do wash my hair beforehand just so I know that number 3 isn't affected by any product build-up. Just a personal preference:) I'd recommend you add a moisturising mask or moisturising conditioner into your routine, as this won't moisturise your hair. I did my research before purchasing this product, and without exaggeration, I felt the difference after the first wash. My hair is type 4c with tiny coils. I sometimes become quite frustrated on wash days, so finding this really has helped. As afro hair can have a build up of products because we have to layer many types to seal in moisture, you do have to shampoo your hair first, so that you get the maximum benefit from it. I sleep with it in as they advise the longer it’s in the better. When I started using No.3, No.0 was launched shortly after, so I use them in combination now. My hair is most definitely happier. Routine is key to get the best results longterm, so stick with it. Ad hoc use isn’t productive, nor economical, your hair won’t thrive this way. Be consistent. In all, I use No.0, 1, 3 and 6. Will be adding No.7 to the mix shortly! I also wanted to add that Olaplex are a lovely company. I did a story on Instagram about me being unwell on my hair wash day and that I wasn’t fit enough to wash out No.0 and No.3. So I had them in for almost three days, and hoped my Afro would be super soft as a result. They acknowledged my story and sent a lovely get well message. That level of kindness was wonderful and unexpected. The range is expensive, but you are paying for salon professional products, with salon professional results. If you’re not sure, I advise you to go for it! Your hair will love you for it!
