Totally happy
Smooth locks like I have never experienced before! I would say this product is for all those, irrespective of hair type, that feel their hair is dry and want soft moisturised touch tresses. I felt I had to write a review further to reading another review on the site - I am black British with an unruly afro that has on many occasions left me in tears and broken the strongest of looking combs, but along came this product and my hair has become my best friend. I was recommended this product when on holiday in the USA, to say the least I was sceptical; however, I followed the instructions I was told i.e. put product on hair with a shower cap (or plastic bag if a shower cap is not to hand) wait for at least 20 mins and experience softer hair. Okay I said, but um right I thought. Alas I did as told and WOW softer hair is defo mine. I have left in on for longer than 20 mins and my hair is just softer for doing so. Since using it I have recommend it to those of all hair types - my house mate is caucasian and she used it with great results on her died hair.

How i wasn't aware of this mask before, i am glad i am using it now though.. gives great softening experience for any sort of damaged hair.

I do not recommend it
I am not satisfied with this product. I love all Alterna products I have tried so far, but this one just does nothing for my hair. I do not recommend it.

Average, not that good for mixed race-hair
I have used products from Alterna before and think they are great. But this.. not so much. I have to use sulfate free products since I have straightened my hair with a keratin treatment. But this treatment is just average and doesn't moisture my hear. It is probably good for non-afro hair, but my hair is very dry since I have dry curs (mixed race hair). If you are looking for sulcate free products I would rather reccomend using the Morrocain oil range.

Excellent
Excellent product! The hair feels soft and silky after the first use of Alterna Caviar Repairx Micro-Bead Fill & Fix Treatment Masque! After so much colouring and sun damage, I could feel that the hair is unhealthy and frizzy. After few uses I can really feel the difference!
