I am a brunette with caramel highlights which can sometimes look a bit brassy, particularly at the top of my head. I wanted a toning product which I could apply to my roots which would not make my hair greasy. This foam / mousse helps to tone down the brassiness slightly, but I think it probably works a lot better on lighter blondes. It also definitely has hold and grip which helps to control my flyaways and frizz.
