Not as good as expected
I’d heard such good things about this foundation, especially for those with problematic and scarred skin like myself. I’ve found it looks nice when first applied, but as the day goes on I’m left looking patchy and cakey. I’m not sure if I’m applying it wrong but I’ve tried several different ways - on its own, and after a liquid foundation, with and without a primer etc. All ends up with the same bad results. Unfortunately it’s not right for me

Loving this foundation
Heard so many good things about the bareminerals powder foundation, so I decided to try it for myself. It took some time getting used to having to apply foundation with a brush, since I have always been using sponges for makeup application. I must say that it was really worth the effort. The foundation looks extremely natural, and even though I can't really build up to full coverage, the coverage is sufficiently high to cover most of my blemishes. It also didn't break me out, even though I have sensitive, acne prone skin. In terms of lasting power, the first time I word this foundation for 14 hours and at the end of the day it still looked pretty decent. Would recommend it to anyone who has a similar skin type.

I have never had a product disagree with my skin so much. I have oily/ combination skin, this powder made me super shiny, it was this weird layer of silk like shine that sat on top of my pores. The whole foundation separated on my face after a few hours and in general it was just a massive flop. Won’t be re-purchasing.

Best Foundation Ever!
This is by far the best foundation I've ever used! I sometimes what to get off it and try liquid foundations but I always come back to this. I have normal to combination skyn, sensitive with rosacia. I'm really good with my skincare routine and this foundation makes my skin even healthier! It doesn't make me itch, covers redness pretty well. Coverage is light to medium. Slightly buildable. Doesn't look cakey. I noticed it behaves better without any primer underneath (at least for my skin type) and I have to wait a bit after I apply my skincare, 'till it dryes down before applying the foundation. But it's really easy! I usually purchase my Bare Minerals in the shade fairly light as light is too yellow for me.

If you want to look like a greasy disco ball then this product is for you! It has a very weird silky- silvery finish and it did not work at all for my oily skin. It exaggerated my pores and disintegrated on my skin within hours. I am tempted to see how the matte version performs but kind of reluctant to spend another 25 for a product that won’t work

I have been using Bare Minerals for nearly 10 years!! I occasionally will use a Mac liquid foundation but I always come back to this one. It has great coverage, even over old spot scars and pigmentation. It's really easy to build the foundation, so you can have a little or full coverage. Also I am super pale and their fairest shade suits my skin.
