CeraVe Smoothing Cream is an intensely moisturising formula designed to combat a variety of skin concerns, including unwanted bumps, scaliness and extreme dryness. Replenishing and non-irritating, the rich cream is packed with essential ingredients to benefit both face and body.
Salicylic Acid and Lactic Acid gently exfoliate to remove dead skin cells and soften rough areas of skin, taking care not to disturb the skin’s moisture barrier in the process. Ceramides help to strengthen the barrier of the skin and lock in a layer of moisture to prevent further patches of flaking or dryness. Though rich in texture, the cream is non-greasy and avoids leaving behind an unpleasant, sticky residue. Boasting soothing properties and 24-hour hydration, this face and body moisturiser is highly nourishing and can be applied to psoriasis and eczema-prone skin.

Broke me out the worst I've been in 10 years
I have acne prone skin and used this moisturiser on my face, for the first couple of days my skin was wonderful but a week later and I suffer the biggest, most painful under skin spots all across my face. I've never had acne like it. Good for the body but stay away from the face

I ordered this as part of the 3 for 2 promotion for bumpy knees and elbows. I used this three times and noticed a significant difference. You definitely don’t need a lot but obviously as with anything if you want the result and continued effect, prolonged use is needed.

I have acne prone skin and this cream really helps! I put it on before bed and my spots have reduced a lot by morning. Plus, it doesn’t clog pores or cause any acne, but it does moisturise my skin. Not sure if I would use this during the day considering it’s reasonably thick in texture and I have oily skin, but it works well at night!

Expected big things, not amazing
After reading reviews of this brand, and suffering from red bumps on my upper arms, I decided to give this cream a go. I have also tired their clear face cleanser. Each product, not that impressive. The face cleanser created a break out and bumpy, rough skin. This cream hasn't caused issue, it just hasn't done very much at all. I've switched to using it as a foot cream as heard it gets good results for dry/rough skin there, so will wait and see!
