Designed to drench the complexion in long-lasting moisture, Drunk Elephant’s Lala Retro™ Ceramide Face Moisturiser is an airy, whipped cream that helps support the skin barrier and defend against everyday environmental stressors.
Formulated with a pH of 5.2, the rich yet breathable texture blends a triple-ceramide complex with five African oils, including marula, to help nourish and soften dry, lacklustre skin. A sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer delivers hydration to minimise the look of fine lines, while high-performance ingredients help to lock in hydration. Rich yet lightweight, the cream promotes a fresh, brighter-looking visage.

Great for dry skin
I have dry skin, which seems to get worse at random! This thick cream feels nice to apply, but it makes a noticeable difference. My skin feels refreshed and it takes away the dryness and dullness I usually have.

Good for damaged skim barrier
Really like the dispenser on this cream. Its very thick feels soothing on the skin which is brilliant when you've gone a bit overboard on the exfoliants/retinol. One reason not 5 star because I am not keen on the fragrance of the cream.

Magic in a tub…
I cannot live without this cream!! Life saver!! I have sensitive skin and spent my years using child friendly lotions, but as I’ve got older, I needed something with some added goodness in it. I came across this cream in a magazine and decided to try, after reading positive reviews. A little pricey for moisturiser, but worth every penny!!! None greasy, light and a must have, if you have dry / sensitive skin!

Lovely even for oily acne prone skin!
This is a lovely face cream even for my oily, acne prone, sensitive skin. I've used a couple of jars of it now and usually use it in the winter months. It has pulled off inflammation, calmed my skin and acne, and moisturised without being greasy or leaving a residue behind. It also sits nicely under foundation. I have not dared using it in the summer as feel it may be a bit much then, but I might give it a try next summer. As for the winter, it's been wonderful and now that summer is over, I'm due a purchase of this jar again. The only cons are that it goes so quickly and the excessive plastic packaging. I tend to purchase products either in glass or tin jars.

I’ve re purchased this more than any other moisturiser . It is my holy grail for dry skin/ irritation. It’s rich but not greasy. I have combi skin. I don’t wear in summer unless I have an irritation as I prefer to wear an SPF, but in winter I wear pretty much every day. It’s pricey but after trying soo many moisturisers this is still 10/10 and the tub lasts over 6mths. I will continue to repurchase. Thank you DE!
