Soothing balm that smells devine.
I wear full-coverage, waterproof makeup and this balm melts all of it away with no scrubbing. I put on the balm and remove with a makeup removing cloth. The balm is highly scented, a herbally, aromathearapy like smell, which I love but if you don't like strong fragrances this product may not be for you.

First time user of Elemis and wow what an amazing product. Melts away your make up instantly and leaves your face feeling cleansed and fresh. This will be a daily part of my skin care routine for sure. I brought this and the fig scented with the fig being my favourite, I enjoyed both, this is a more spa/relaxing fragrance as opposed to the fig the fig is more fresh. Best way to remove make up
Love the cleansing balm. A little can go a long way. Use it to take off my whole make up including eye make up then double cleanse with a different Elemis. Only problem is that you used to get a free face cloth and spatula to get it out and now it costs more and no free cloth.

If you have sensitive eyes…
The balm works, it takes every bit of my makeup off and with ease too. However this is heavily fragranced and whilst my skin loves it, my eyes sting and water terribly. For a product at this price point it’s a deal breaker for me. The Clinique Take The Day Off balm does the job just as well, no irritation to my eyes and the price is significantly cheaper. I wanted to love this because the texture is beautiful and luxurious however I can’t get past the eye irritation. If you have sensitive eyes do not purchase this - if you don’t have sensitive eyes then this is a lovely cleanser.
