Directions of use:
- Warm a small amount of the balm in your hands and massage over face for an instant ‘sleep in a tube’ effect. Use sparingly.
- Apply topically to minor skin irritations including blemishes
- Use to treat extremely dry skin conditions on the face or body
- Massage into elbows, knees, nails and feet for an overnight healing effect.

You can’t go wrong with this. A true multi purpose balm. Used on dry lips and cleared up within a day. Also use as a little treat for under eye area which is a little dry at times. The tube lasts for ages. I wouldn’t be without.

Winter moisturiser
Initially I bought it to use on my fingers as I had just recently pulled a hang nail and it helped so well to sooth and heal my cuticle in less than a week. Used as an on the go cuticle treatment. I also use it as a lip balm as well as on top of my usual hand cream in the winter as an extra barrier of moisture and protection because my hands get really dry in the winter. As I’m very oily I do not use this on my face other than my lips. I don’t see myself using this in the summer as it’s very thick but for the harsh cold winters I would give it a thumbs up. Over all a multi purpose product. Some would say it’s an overpriced Vaseline lol but I like nice things so I will be repurchasing.

So yes, I did buy this because of the book "Spare", but for my dry outer eye corners. I have suffered with dry eyelids in the winter for most of my life, especially in the outer corners and while there used to be remedies that worked, some of them irritated the rest of my eyes and led to even worse problems and only petroleum jelly really worked to fend off the elements until spring rolled around and wind and dry AC/radiator heat were no longer bothering me. This is a complete game changer and really heals the skin, it does not just cover it. I don't know what sorcery this is but it really works.
