The combination of petrolatum, a skin-soothing beta-hydroxy in one of its first cosmetic uses, and vitamin E make this apricot coloured balm effective and beneficial for those emergency skin moments. Miss Arden also famously used it to soothe her thoroughbred horses' legs!
Directions of use:
- Warm a small amount of the balm in your hands and massage over face for an instant ‘sleep in a tube’ effect. Use sparingly.
- Apply topically to minor skin irritations including blemishes
- Use to treat extremely dry skin conditions on the face or body
- Massage into elbows, knees, nails and feet for an overnight healing effect.

Very disappointing product
I brought this cream last week to use on dry skin and lips, it has made my lips so much worse, they are extremely dry and blistered very painful after just simply using this cream. Very disappointed with this product as I have read lots of good reviews but I would definitely not recommend unfortunately.

This cream is the only one that I have found that actually restores my skin where is is so dry that it is flaking, especially where the wind catches the edges of my glasses. Put a minute dab on each dry spot, massage in gently, leave overnight and hey presto, calm rejuvenated skin in the morning. AND, it smells of gorgeous honey . It can be used as often as necessary. There simply is nothing to beat it.

Not as good as I remember
I remember in my teens and twenties that this used to be the only thing to sort out my chapped lips, hands, dry patches, etc. It was a real investment too when you're that age and a bit skint. But, while expensive, the tube lasts for ages. The last winter, lockdown, constant handwashing and mask-wearing have taken their toll on my skin so I purchased a tube of this to sort out my skin woes. Either the formula has changed, or I have changed, but this just didn't work for me like it used to.
