The combination of petrolatum, a skin-soothing beta-hydroxy in one of its first cosmetic uses, and vitamin E make this apricot coloured balm effective and beneficial for those emergency skin moments. Miss Arden also famously used it to soothe her thoroughbred horses' legs!
Directions of use:
- Warm a small amount of the balm in your hands and massage over face for an instant ‘sleep in a tube’ effect. Use sparingly.
- Apply topically to minor skin irritations including blemishes
- Use to treat extremely dry skin conditions on the face or body
- Massage into elbows, knees, nails and feet for an overnight healing effect.

Excellent
By far the best product for lips. It has a thick consistency but absorbs well. I have use other brands of lip products but I live this the most. It could be apply overnight with a thick layer or during daytime and before lipstick. I think it will be good for applying on dry patches, and even for dry skin. This is a fragrant version and it also have the fragrance free version. The smell original version is not that pleasant, I wonder how bad could the fragrance free version smells.

this product is more like a lip beam. too thick for on the normal skin but will be amazing for healing or very dry skin. it turn out to be a really big size of lipstick for me.

Fantastic product
Love this product! It is a great multi-purpose product which is intensely moisturising and healing (like no other product I have come across on the market). Interestingly, it is also good on oily acne skins (my skin type for the last few years). I am now using this product on: - eye area - cuticles - nails - feet - hands - spots - sensitised areas of skin - also tried it on my hair and scalp Would highly recommend it! Best to use at night, or during the day for emergency attention to the skin etc.

Great product
I had a sample of this in a beauty box over 6 months ago and have been meaning to buy it for knots. I was given this in a set as a Christmas present with the hand cream and lip balm and all 3 products are amazing for my skin. It is so gentle and very hydrating, great for sensitive and dry skin. Would highly recommend this product!

Great hand cream
I have suffered with my hands for years and although I have tried many hand creams this one is the only one that has made a difference. I would recommend this as a good hand cream to use at night with a pair of cotton gloves.

Right hour cream
This cream is so good, I have eczema and it has really helped with my dry patches! Also it's good on your face too, I put a tiny bit over my face at night to keep it well moisturised! Love it!

A Great Favourite
I've been using this Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant for years and forever will. Its great as a hand and foot moisturiser, as well as being fab for keeping unruly eyebrows at bay and dry elbows!

Versatile
Suffice to say this product has so many uses - it works very well as a lip balm, on grazes and scratches and even on patches of exma. Sometimes looks a little shiny on the skin though.
