The only foundation you’ll ever need!
I have been using this foundation for over 10 years. It saw me through my 30s and now into my 40s. The main criticism I read/hear about EL Double Wear is that “it’s too thick & settles in lines & wrinkles”. I think this is because people use too much - you only need a pea size amount to start, and then use more to build up if necessary. I also think it’s all in the prep & application - if you have dry skin, you need to use a good hydrating moisturiser or primer underneath. Use a beauty blender, not a brush - it blends out much easier. I also advise using a kabuki brush to blend the foundation - this will help with those lines & wrinkles. If you still find it too thick, then mix it with a moisturiser. Pros - it lasts all day, even in hot humid climates like Florida. A bottle lasts ages bc you only need a tiny amount for each application. You can use less or more depending on the look you want. Cons - I don’t really have any about the product, just that I wish it would come with the pump instead of buying it separately (which I would advise you to do).

But this double-wear foundation gives a lovely flawless finish that stays perfect all day It doesn't feel heavy on your skin and is cakey. I wore it for a whole day and remained fresh! Simply wow! It covers blemishes well and my skin looks so even and smooth. It's easy to remove it and you can't feel it on your skin which is incredible for full-coverage foundation. The shade is the best match for me. Amazing Product! Highly recommend.

Disappointing - highlighted every crease
I used to use this foundation in my early twenties and remember it being long wearing. I can’t actually remember why I stopped using it. When I recently finished my foundation, a friend reminded me of double-wear and recommended it. So I thought I would go back to it. There are so many incredible reviews for this foundation but I am not one of them unfortunately. Really disappointed with this foundation. I’ve only just turned 30 and I found it highlights my very light wrinkles and I just look creased and dry. There are patches on my skin that look powdery whilst other patches look dewy. I’ve never had this before. I’ve never really had much of an issue with foundation other than the longevity of the product on my skin or the colour match to my skin. So this was a bit of a shock. Also worth noting it does not have a pump (totally forgot this!) so it is awkward to dispense. Although you can buy a pump.
