I never used foundation when i was younger because my skin was very good but now in my 50s I have some pigmentation from too much sun and late nights. this stuff was the first foundation I found recommended at the beauty counter and I loved it and used it for about 8 years now. it is oil free and feels very comfortable on top of a good slather of moisturiser without looking pancakey. my daughter in law envies how fast i can apply my foundation with a pooh sponge. she says it looks airbrushed. I spray my sponge with a little toner rather than soak it in water. it stops the sponge absorbing too much so I avoid wasting foundation. you don't need a lot to get good coverage either. if you use the pump you save tipping too much out. my rule of thumb is 3 pumps, forehead nose and chin and dab outwards. its plenty for my whole face and neck but would be easy enough to apply a second coat if you need it. I've tried other foundation if I was tanned or dry skinned and wanted a more dewy look but I go back to double wear so I stock up now. my only slight beef would be the glass bottle. I recycle and this stuff is not designed to wash off easy lol.
