The multi-purpose, multi-award-winning balm has been expertly balanced to suit all skin types, and combines the brand's signature blend of four aromatic plant oils (Clove, Eucalyptus, Hops and Egyptian Chamomile) to promote glowing, radiant, smoother-looking skin. Clove Oil encourages clear, clarified skin, while Egyptian Chamomile Oil and Cocoa Butter soften, soothe and condition.
Developed to be used in conjunction with the specially woven, 100% muslin cloth, it provides a deep yet gentle cleanse; effortlessly melting away dirt and makeup (even stubborn waterproof formulas) while gently exfoliating and decongesting without drying or stripping skin. It helps to slough away dead skin cells, smoothing and refining skin's texture, preparing the complexion for the next steps in your skincare regime.
After use, skin feels smooth, clean and decongested with improve tone and circulation. Witness visible benefits on all skin types.
Please Note: When subject to temperature change, the formula has a tendency to crystallise over time. This is a natural process and varies per product. Warm up the cleanser between hands to melt the crystals before applying. The exfoliation benefit is generated by using the woven muslin cloth provided.
The colour of the product may vary from yellow to green, dependent on the harvest of the Chamomile Oil. This does not impact the efficacy of the product.

I'm with Vogue on this one - it's 'probably the best cleanser in the world'. I don't wear make-up and I've more time am than pm - so I use it in the morning before my shower. The difference it's made to to my skin [particularly on and around my nose] is remarkable. I use a magnifying mirror so I can really see the difference. And I love the ritual of it. And the smell ... And the simple elegant white pot ... I was in WHS earlier today - leafing through Sali Hughes's book "Pretty Iconic" - there it was with a couple of pages dedicated to it. It's certainly stood the test of time. I cannot recommend it enough.

Works well, but aluminum in the ingredients
The skin felt smooth and clean after using this, but I am just not comfortable with putting an aluminum salt on my skin. So sadly, won't repurchase.

I really love this cleanser. I have had to knock off a star however because I can only use it every 48 hours else it makes my skin breakout in a rash. It smells absolutely divine, cleanses my skin and makes it feel wonderful. I just wish perhaps my skin wasn't so sensitive!

The Best Cleanser Money Can Buy
I wear a lot of heavy day time make up - full face! This cleanser is an absolute joy to use after a hard day. It’s a rich, oily, slightly gritty texture - massage into dry skin, watch it melt away make up, dirt and grease. I have very oily, combination skin, that can be sensitive and this cleanser does not irritate my skin in any way at all, not even my eyes, which I rub it on to remove eye make up. Placing that warm Muslim cloth on my skin and breathing in those essential oils is so relaxing. My skin after using this cleanser is soft, hydrated, brighter, more balanced and I have noticed a visible reduction in pore size and blackheads. I’m a product junkie and I’ve tried just about everything and nothing comes near to this as a cleanser. Yes it’s expensive but you really do only need the smallest amount and warm it your palms to loosen the cleaner and release the oils!

Cleansing is not the most fun part of the routine - but with this cleanser, it's something i have started to truly enjoy. The scent, the texture, the softness of skin after - amazing! Would give five stars if it weren't so overpriced.
