1. Start by putting on gloves and mix the developer and colourant cream in the applicator bottle.
2. Apply the mix, starting with your roots and working through to the ends.
3. Leave the colourant mix on for 30 minutes, before rinsing your hair thoroughly.

Dark brown
I had recently tried to go blonde after years of box black dye, I thought taking my time and going to an expensive hair salon would mean my hair stayed in relatively good condition but sadly not. After a few months of caring for my hair I still had so much damage that I decided to go back to my natural hair colour and I was too scared to go back to the hairdressers so looked for a good dye I could use at home. I wanted a brown that wouldn’t fade to red (although I know you need the pigment when going from light to dark) so I got two of these. I didn’t leave it on for as long as you’re supposed to the first box and then a few weeks later I used the second box. It’s been a perfect match for my natural hair and also the dye hasn’t damaged my hair. I really like this dye and I don’t think I’d use anything else. It’s user friendly, clean and simple to use out of the box, doesn’t smell bad and doesn’t break fine hair.

When it comes to hair dye I always purchase Garnier Olia. I have naturally dark brown hair and I dye the ends with a little lighter shade as they’ve been lightened previously. I use number 4 for the roots to cover my greys blending number 5 on mid part of my hair and finish with number 6 on the ends. It covers beautifully. My all time favourite box dye.

Beautiful true dark brown shade
Really pretty dark brown, matches my natural colour so well. I had very damaged hair from over bleaching and this seems to have colour matched my roots perfectly and also made it feel more soft. My hair is still very damaged (I’m working on that!) but this definitely helped. It doesn’t have red undertones which I really like too as my natural brown, it’s more cool toned.
