I personally am not a fan of this perfume. While I was extremely excited to smell this as it being the new scent, I was a bit put out when I sprayed and had a strong scent of insect repellent/citronella. After using it the last few days, it has grown on me slightly but still not a scent I would use out of choice. More of a room air freshener. But disappointed of Gucci that this is more like petal and greenery than a glorious flowers in bloom smell.

After only wearing Chanel for a few years it was nice to try something new. I found this fragrance refreshing and it made me think of summer. The packaging and bottle itself are beautiful. It's a nice size, not too big to put in your handbag. The whole bottle just looks gorgeous and quite posh. I didn't however like the smell. It is a very strong, floral smell, and in my opinion quite over powering. I prefer a sweet, light smelling scent. The perfume lasted quite a while too which is what you want from a fragrance.

I never really go for a floral fragrance, however I was more than impressed with Gucci Bloom! The packaging is beautiful with a modern touch. The bottle itself is a little very dusky pink colour and looks lovely on the shelf and definitely stands out amongst the rest. The fragrance itself is strong and quite powerful to begin with, but soon lightens and lasts a long time. This is ideal for day and night time so works for me as I usually have different ones for day/night. I have the 30ml bottle and it's a great size to take in my handbag for a quick spritz when needed. Very happy indeed with this!

The door bell goes and I get very excited to see the postman, package in hand! I open the door and sign before rushing to the kitchen to unwrap my new fragrance!! First impressions, the packaging is pretty, adorned with flowers and it's pink, always a winner in my book. The bottle itself again pink with a simple label, I like it! Next I procede to spritz myself and dance around the kitchen asking my other half to smell me. "What do you think?" I chirp "Smells like old women" is his reply. Not to be put off by his clearly unimpressed reaction I tell him to wait a while before instructing him to smell me again. "What do you think now?!" "Hmmmm still not sure" he replies with a grim look on his face. A few days later we are off out to dinner. I get ready and before running out the door I adorn myself once again in Gucci Bloom. I settle in to the car and it's not long before my other half announces "you've got that perfume on again haven't you, I still don't like it". I mumble "well I like it" and we continue on our way to dinner. "You smell different" is my best friends greeting when we reach our destination and I get out the car to hug her. "You like it?" I ask. "Hmmmm not so much, it's ok, a bit old womanish" she replies. Well that's it then my two favourite people in all the world don't like how I smell, so regardless of the fact I quite enjoy the smell of Gucci Bloom if my nearest and dearest don't like it, I'm not going to wear it. They are the ones that have to smell me after all!

This smells amazing when you first spray on. I am a fan of Gucci perfumes, and they tend to be stronger but the scent doesn't last that long so find myself applying more frequently. It smells fantastic, before it arrivef i was expecting it to have an obvious over powering obvious floral smell but it doesnt. Floral scents tebd to give me headaches but nit thid one, so pleasently surorusrf. My mum and gran would love this perfume. Might be on their Christmas list. Rated a 4 with it fading quickly but all in all it is lovely so would recommend it to others.
