The Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder puts a twist on traditional setting powders. Aside from keeping your makeup set for 16 hours, the powder uses pearl pigments and amino acids to grace the skin with a naturally radiant finish, absorbing oil and controlling shine for 24 hours. Enriched with vitamins C and E, the powder adds a touch of sheer coverage to promote a seamless matte finish.

Nice setting powder
I had heard amazing reviews on this and whilst it is great, I'm not sure it's as amazing as everyone has been saying. I'm 26 and use good skincare products. I find my fine lines are still obvious even with this powder. It does last throughout the day and is amazing on other areas of the face, however under the eyes, it still sits in to fine lines, when applied with a brush or beauty blender.

It sets your makeup nicely and there is a lot of product in the pot, so it doesn’t last a long time! Only downside is that it can be a little drying. But it’s still a great powder

Annoyingly Fantastic
You cannot get away from this powder - every beauty and makeup influencer across every platform raves about it! I was hesitant to buy it as it's quite pricey - I'm usually a drug store makeup kinda gal - but I had some birthday money and a discount voucher code (thanks Look Fantastic newsletter!) so I figured I'd splash out. In a weird way, I kinda hoped it wasn't that great.... but IT REALLY IS AMAZING. And that is so annoying! I have fine lines under my eyes and with other powders my concealer usually ends up sinking into them and creasing up - not with this powder. It's so finely milled and lightweight, you're barely aware that it's there! It does a wonderful job setting the under eye area, and kept my oily T-zone under control for about 7 hours from the first application - a record for me as I'm usually super shiny in about half that time! It really is that good; worth the hype, worth the price, and it should last me a long time too as a little goes such a long way! Annoyingly Fantastic indeed.
