The Clear and Defend Plus Facial Wash is a refreshing formula that helps to cleanse the skin, encouraging a clarified, more radiant look. Neutrogena’s face wash is powered by a 4% AHA/PHA blend that helps to even the skin tone and soothe the appearance of blemishes.
A 2% concentration of glycolic acid seeks to minimise the appearance of discolouration caused by blemishes. Gluconolactone, a resurfacing agent, aims to refine the skin, while salicylic acid helps to remove excess sebum. Discover a balanced-looking complexion with this revitalising face wash.
- Application: Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly. Start with one application daily, then increase to two if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains an AHA that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Face wash
The clear skin face was was ok. Wouldn’t say it fully got rid of spots, and has a slight smell of chemicals to it. Improvement would be to either add a fragrance or make sure it smells of nothing #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

A great facial wash

Great everyday face wash
This is a fab everyday face wash. It’s not as strong as the grapefruit face wash which I prefer as that feels too harsh on the skin. This is much more gentle yet effective. Only thing I don’t rate is the packaging. It looks like it’s too harsh and would damage the skin even thought the product itself is quite the opposite. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Great face wash
This face wash does a fantastic job at removing dirt, oil, and makeup. My skin feels incredibly clean and refreshed after use, which is a huge plus. However, I did notice a slight dryness after using it consistently. Pros: * Excellent cleansing: Effectively removes impurities from the skin. * Refreshes the skin: Leaves a feeling of cleanliness and revitalization. Lovely face wash
This facewash is just right on my combination skin and eliminates extra oil. It does not irritate my skin and I am very happy with it. It is refreshing, light and smells good! It removed my makeup and my skin felt radiant and revitalised after use. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Skin looks clear and glowing

Excellent face wash
I was very surprised by this facial wash. After only a few washes, my skin felt better and looked about clearer. I haven't suffererd from a breakout since using this daily. No more spots!
I thought that Neutrogena Clear & Defend+ Facial Wash did wonders for my skin! In only a few days of using it (I used it twice a day) it cleared up my skin. I struggle with hormonal spots, but this stopped these. I’d recommend it a 10/10 #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Works well on oily areas but it's drying other areas out
It works well on my more oily areas (nose, chin) and removes excess sebum effectively but after a while it made my skin around the corners of my mouth dry so I use it alternating with an other, more hydrating product. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
