Flaky!
When you apply this to the face, it feels great, and it smells great. As it is light, I considered trying it out for my combination acne-prone skin. But after half an hour or so, it starts to come off the skin in flakes! I thought it was the mix of it with my other serums or the amount I was using, but even when I have tried to use it on it's own, in the most pea-sized amount, it keeps flaking up when it dries. I definitely can't wear makeup on top of this moisturiser, even with primer/spf etc on top, as the makeup doesn't spread on the skin at all. It makes my skin feel much drier than it already is. It definitely doesn't give the 'awakening' affect that it suggests, and it doesn't brighten my skin at all. It felt almost like I was given a bad batch, as I hadn't seen any reviews about this on lookfantastic or others, but having gone to Origins' website, I've realised quite a few of people have been experiencing the same thing and I wish I had realised before I had ordered it. I am very very disappointed in this, I definitely don't recommend it.

So far it is great
I have never used any products from this brand before, and I always wanted to. I wanted a new moisturiser that is very similar to what is described here. As it is winter, I want my skin to be looking more glowy. The formula itself is nice, yes it is gel but it is a nice consistency and perfect for oily skin. I have oily and dry skin, and this product works well for me in terms of my type of skin. It does smell nice, but I feel like you really need to exfoiliate your skin before using this as when I rub my face after I feel dead skin coming off. So make sure you exfoilate regualrly as I found this to make the product work better. My skin itself has not really changed much, so I will keep using it until I finish the tub and see how I feel. I have broken out a bit but I think that is just because I have been on my period. Other than this it seems to be okay. But my mind hasn't been blown away. But it does do the job for sure.

This cream or gel is nice on application with a refreshing scent however i noticed a few enlarged pores on my cheeks and nose after maybe a month of using this. Besides this i think it does the job of making the skin feel hydrated.
