An award-winner and bestseller, The INKEY List Oat Cleansing Balm gently dissolves makeup, SPF, oil and impurities from the skin to reveal a soft and supple complexion. The rich cleansing balm is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, nourishing the natural protective barrier as it melts away the day.
A comforting cocktail of 3% oat kernel oil and 1% colloidal oatmeal visibly soothes redness and protects the skin’s moisture barrier in order to resist stripping or drying out the skin. Perfect as the first cleanser in your double cleanse routine, the cleansing balm also doubles as a shaving balm or ten-minute mask.

- When to Use: As the first step in your skincare routine.
- Recommended Amount: A coin-sized amount.
- Application: Gently massage a small amount of the cleaning balm onto a dampened face and neck. Add water, then rinse thoroughly. For an extra nourishment boost, leave on for 10 minutes before rinsing.
- Routine: Follow with The INKEY List Hyaluronic Acid as your first step after cleansing, then apply preferred treatments and moisturiser. Use SPF as the last step in your AM skincare routine.

This is my first go at traditional double cleanse, but so far so good. The balm is very gentle, but in the same time stronger than I expected. I don't really wear heavy make up, but for now it is doing its job very well.

Works well but don’t like smell
I adore everything about the Emma Hardie moringa cleansing balm but it’s too pricey for ongoing daily use so gave this a go. The texture is really similar which is great, but sadly I can’t stand the smell, without the essential oils this kind of formula just smells a bit..stale? The top of the tube also burst open the first time I used it so I had to tape it up. In terms of efficacy it worked well, and I like how it turns to a milk with water before wiping off like the EH. I just can’t really stand the smell, if I was confident it wouldn’t cause a reaction I’d add a couple of drops of essential oils to it, but as it is I’ve used up the tube but glad I can try something else new.
