A comforting cocktail of 3% oat kernel oil and 1% colloidal oatmeal visibly soothes redness and protects the skin’s moisture barrier in order to resist stripping or drying out the skin. Perfect as the first cleanser in your double cleanse routine, the cleansing balm also doubles as a shaving balm or ten-minute mask.

- When to Use: As the first step in your skincare routine.
- Recommended Amount: A coin-sized amount.
- Application: Gently massage a small amount of the cleaning balm onto a dampened face and neck. Add water, then rinse thoroughly. For an extra nourishment boost, leave on for 10 minutes before rinsing.
- Routine: Follow with The INKEY List Hyaluronic Acid as your first step after cleansing, then apply preferred treatments and moisturiser. Use SPF as the last step in your AM skincare routine.

Gentle but not great for removing eye makeup removal
I wanted to like this product as it is very gentle and good for if you have sensitive skin. However if like me you wear waterproof eye makeup it might not be for you. I found it didn’t do great when trying to remove waterproof eye makeup compared to other cleansing balms I’ve tried, and I was having to use a lot of product to get even some of it off. Usually having to go in with another product to get all of the makeup removed. If you’re looking for just a gentle cleanser I would recommend. If you need something that will shift makeup well I’d say it might not be the best.
