Fight signs of ageing with The Ordinary's Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion, a solution that combines two forms of next-generation Retinoid to help improve the appearance of ageing and acne-prone skin.
The two Retinoids used are a Solubilized Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate (which has a multi-fold anti-ageing effect, more efficient than Retinol), and pure Retinol in a protective capsule system which supports the delivery and efficacy of Solubilized Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate. The solution works to visibly fight signs of ageing without irritating the skin.
Caution: Retinoids can make the skin more sensitive to UV radiation. Sun protection is particularly important when using retinoids. This product must not be used in conjunction with other retinoids including retinol or retinoic acid. This product is not a treatment for acne. Acne-prone skin may experience a temporary increase in acne during the first few weeks of using any form of retinoid including those used in this formulation.
Apply a few drops to face in the evening as part of your skincare regimen. Do not use with other retinoid treatments. Use sun protection during the day.

This made me break out originally but I haven't had an issues since the first couple of days. I haven't experienced any sensitivity at all, despite not being a regular user of any retinol products.

I have used this product for a couple of months now and am now addicted!!! The product really does brighten up your skin and it feels much smoother. I started on a lesser % however as had no issues with sensitivity moved up to the emulsion 2% and found it works brilliantly.

Although I’m no longer young, I do feel that my facial wrinkles are less noticeable! I have been using regularly for several weeks so will definitely continue, along with The Ordinary hyaluronic acid. I have been told my skin looks good for my age so definitely will continue using both products. They combine with my regular moisturiser and are easy to apply and another bonus is that both products are not expensive! What a super site!

Used it a few times over the last couple of weeks. I noticed that it helps dry out spots and help them heal quicker. I don't have deep wrinkles and started using this as a preventative so can't say anything about that. But my skin does feel soft after using and has tolerated the product quite well.

I have used this for 2 months so far and I can see a noticeable difference in my skin. My crows feet appear reduced and unexpectedly the redness around my nose and chin has improved as well. I had no sensitivity or dryness at all, from day 1. I use the Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + zinc underneath it and Dr Sam’s Flawless Moisturiser over it. Amazing products, all three! I am 45 years old with combination skin. By the way I have also tried the Granactive Retinoid 0.5% in Squalane and I really disliked it. Made me feel very greasy, stung my eyes and smelled weird.
