Compared to the original formula: obviously better for oily skin, but I find the original formula leaves a bit of a (slight) yellow cast. This one does not, but I feel it does leave a tiny tiny bit of a white cast. Subtle, not noticeable if you put makeup over it, but something to consider if you have a darker complexion.

I needed a new facial SPF as my skin is currently more sensitive to the sun. This goes on well and does a great job of protecting my skin. Not oily and doesn't interfere with my other makeup. The best SPF I've tried for my combination skin

I have used this for years now and it sits lovely under makeup. I have really oily skin and nothing will ever stop it from being oily, but this spf definitely doesn't add to my level of oil like other heavier spfs do. I do like a dewy look, rather than matte, as it is fresher and more youthful looking so this achieves that. I think it even keeps some of my oiliness at bay. Its very runny and lightweight. It can be expensive as the bottle only lasts a month but I wouldn't he without a spf50 on my face and there are others out there that are a lot more expensive. I always try and get it on a deal
