Developed for sensitive skin types, the Aveeno CALM+RESTORE® Gentle PHA Exfoliating Cleanser leave skin feeling smooth and hydrated. The non-abrasive cleanser gently exfoliates the skin to minimise the look of dead skin cells and congestion while nourishing the skin’s moisture barrier.
Gentle enough for daily use, the exfoliant works to visibly refresh the complexion to reveal the look of smoother, brighter skin. Polyhydroxy acid powers the formula to slough away dead, dull skin cells causing visible texture and a lack of radiance. The formula does this without compromising the skin’s natural moisture barrier thanks to oat oil that nourishes the skin for a soft, supple feeling.

- Application: Apply to wet or dry skin. Massage gently to remove dirt and impurities. Wipe off or rinse with lukewarm water.

Very mild but efficient
Very mild exfoliator but so efficient and the skin feels so moisturized,not stripping at all more like a milk cleanser,I have normal skin but sometimes after I 'm using cleanser tend to dry #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Fuss-free exfoliation
Having now tried the Aveeno face Calm+Restore daily for a week now, I have to say this is an impressive product. The 150ml packaging came with clear instructions on how to use the smooth textured exfoliating cream. It was fragrance-free which was important to me; I have very sensitive eyes and anything with a fragrance causes irritation. It felt unusual to use such a smooth cream as all exfoliating lotions I've tried previously contained particles which you could feel roughly on the skin. I was impressed how cleansed my face felt after using the Aveeno face Calm+Restore. There was no redness or irritation, just bright, clear skin. In fact, I felt it left my skin firm and refreshed throughtout the day. Additionally, I only needed to use a small amount, so the 150ml will no doubt last me a lot longer than the usual exfoliating I buy. I was really impressed, will definitely buy again and would not hesitate to recommend to others. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

A little goes a long way
This item is packaged nicely and provides plenty of information. It’s scent free and very smooth. I think this caught me out as the first few times I used more than 50p amount and this wasn’t necessary. Be aware that this is a liquid exfoliator so you don’t need to rub it in to the skin too much for it to be effective. I found out a little too late in my first try and my skin ended up being a little too dry after use. I used a little less and less vigorously over the coming days and it’s lovley but I’d say more for oily skin. I have smooth skin that feels a little tight after use so would recommend use of a moisturiser or serum. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Good affordable cleanser
I though overall this was a nice product, gentle enough for daily use and left my skin feeling very fresh and clean. Also found that a little goes a long way, the only thing I found was that it left my skin ever so slightly dry feeling and I felt I had to moisturise more but nothing bad. Apart from that this was a brilliant product to try! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Gentle but effective

Lovely face wash
Been using for 1 week, it’s a nice gentle exfoliating face wash, not too gritty like a lot of others, doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight and dry after washing. It doesn’t foam and is quite clear so hard to see if u have washed it all away properly

Lovely gentle cleanser
I've used this at least once a day for a week now. I have seen a slight reduction in blemishes since using. Its a very smooth formula, so non gritty abrasive texture. I think I perhaps need to use a little longer to see the exfoliating affects, but so far my skin does feel a little smoother. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Early days but impressive ingredients
I've only used this product for a few days so far but early impressions are good! The ingredients list is very impressive, including very gentle, moisturising ingredients. I was apprehensive about the oils as I've had acne in the past, which can be exacerbated by most oils. So far, I've had no outbreaks and my skin feels hydrated after washing. I've used AHAs and BHAs for many years but this is my first time with PHAs. Given that this is a rinse-off formulation, I imagine it would be fantastic for first time users. It is creamy and doesn't foam, which I like. It's great to see a sulphate-free cleanser! I'm a bit confused about why this isn't labelled as a facial product, like it is in the US. Time will tell as to whether this face wash makes it into my permanent routine, but I'm optimistic! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Didn't like the smell
The product didn't smell very nice. I do use Aveeno products already so I knew that it wouldn't smell floral but was surprised the oats smelt so strong. My face felt a little drier after than I'd like but had no reaction to it which was great. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
