Use on completely dry hair. Apply heat protectant before use and section hair. Start near roots, but not touching scalp and work your way down, simply clamping, holding and releasing.

Experiment with the sections you clamp. The smaller the section, the deeper the crimp. The wider the section, the looser the wave.
