Specially formulated for scalps prone to dandruff, the Cantu Guava Scalp Relief Shampoo is a clarifying formula that leaves hair feeling refreshed. The shampoo delivers a deep cleanse, effectively removing product build-up and impurities.
Powered by a 3% concentration of salicylic acid and tea tree oil, the nourishing formula sets to work to detoxify the lengths, while a blend of ginger and apple cider vinegar encourages a stronger appearance. Enhanced with the antioxidant properties of guava, the multi-purpose shampoo protects against environmental aggressors.
- When to Use: Twice a week.
- Application: Lather up before applying to the scalp and wet hair. Rinse out and repeat.

Good stuff
My daughter suffers from dandruff and oily hair, I took a chance on this helping to cleanse her hair and prevent the flakiness that starts once the hair is dry. It did make her scalp tingle and was a bit uncomfortable on the first wash but she has gotten used to that now. You really do need to rub it between your hands to lather it up before putting on your hair but it has made a massive difference and she is now more confident. Its not a daily use shampoo, she uses it every 3 washes as it has got quite a medicated smell to it but over all very impressed with the results.

Didn't work for me
The shampoo lathered well and smelt fresh however it did not help my dry scalp. In fact, it felt itchier the following day than it had previously. Note, this is also a clarifying formula that is not good if you already have dry/brittle hair. The hunt continues...

I do suffer with dry and itchy, flaky scalp. I saw this new line from Cantu and thought it was worth a shot. Using this shampoo gave my scalp a new lease of life, it felt refreshed, clean and most importantly soothed of the itch. It has that tea tree sort of tingle so if you're not into that, then you won't like this but it really doesn't help to calm everything. It also smells divine!
