- Application:: Recommended use in the evening only and always follow with SPF protection in the daytime. Use pump applicator to dispense product onto fingers. We suggest start with a small amount, and by using once a week. Then build up use that is tolerated by your skin. Avoid contact with eyes and lips, if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. This product may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun. Always use a sun protection in the daytime and limit sun exposure when using this product.
- Routine: Discover CeraVe's routine for post-breakout marks. Cleanse the skin thoroughly using CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser. Recommended use day and night. In the morning, follow with CeraVe AM Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF 50. In the evening, apply CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum.

Works for spots
My years olds started to fade with this serum..i didnt expected any quick fix as retinol does takes time to start working but I can see positive difference in the appearance of spots. The serum in itself very lightweight and absorb very quickly ..feels lovely on the skin. Not greasy at all and has a very mild fragrance

Amazing serum
I tried the retinol serum from Cerave and loved it. I feel my skin looks smoother and plumper after use. A dermatologist friend did mention that retinols are great for mature skin, and I totally agree!

Nice texture
The product has a silky texture and felt cool going onto the skin. There was no irritation to skin but I didn’t notice any immediate changes to pores or the evenness of skin tone.

Serum that fits into your routine
Very pleasant serum, very light and without intensive smell. Mostly applied as a part of a night routine, gave a nice start under the base cream. Did not provide extreme results, however it's been noticable that the skin has been a little clearer.

Just OK
So first initial thoughts I liked that it had no smell and the texture of the serum felt very luxurious on the skin, it didn’t burn as it any suggest and I used 2 pumps to really get the product all over my face. After using it for 2 weeks I actually didn’t notice any difference to my acne marks, my skin looks refreshed and felt hydrated but it didn’t do anything else as it suggests. I honestly probably wouldn’t buy it again.

I really enjoyed using this serum. It's really gentle for a retinol product, but I do feel it's effective. My skin looks and feels more refined. I definitely feel like this would be much more beneficial with continued use so I have already purchased it myself.

Very good serum!!
I'm really happy to use this serum for more than a month now. Light formula, it absorbs easily, not noticeable on the skin. Neutral smell. Skin without blemishes. I really recommend this product.

Fantastic retinol
I have been testing this for couple of weeks now and so far it’s fab! my skin is left feeling very smooth, cerave is one of those trusted skincare brands where you just know it’s going to be great, it’s a wonderful serum!

Great to try
I’d always fancied trying a retinol product so this sample was fantastic. I found that it went on well and didn’t leave an unpleasant residue as some serums do. I did feel that my skin was a lot drier for a week or so until it was used to the product, so I used it sparingly. I’ve not seen a massive difference in my skin since using but I will persevere and watch this space. Very glad to have been able to try this
