I was gifted this to review. I’ve used a different scalp scrub in the past but this was the first time trying this one. This smells amazing, scalp feels really clean and refreshed and my hair feels so soft and nourished. I can’t believe how amazing my hair felt after using. It styled really nicely when I dried and curled it too. Would definitely recommend. Just make sure to rinse the bath or shower tray thoroughly after use. Some of the salt crystals are pretty large and it looks a little like broken glass in the shower tray!

Good for Scalp Detox
I was gifted this by LookFantastic to try and review. I have used other products by Christophe Robin and have rated them very highly so was excited to use this. I have very long hair which is highlighted, fine and lots of it. To avoid washing and damaging my hair I will wash as infrequently as possible and use dry shampoo or baby powder in between. I tried this product on a day where my hair felt awful with greasy roots and using it felt like my scalp was getting a proper cleanse. It did a great job of removing the product build up and the mask I used afterwards (back to your baby blonde by the same brand) did an even more stellar job. I will buy this in the future and use as and when as personally I think a few times a week could be too much. I’ve only given four stars as the chunks of salt are quite large and I prefer something that is easier to manage but overall a great product from a great brand.

Allergic reaction.
I really wanted to like this scrub but unfortunately my scalp didn't agree with it. I used this 3 times, once per week as advised, on the first use it did leave my scalp feeling really clean and helped with my oily roots. However, the second time using this scrub my scalp felt a little sensitive. I thought I'd try it for a third time as there were so many good reviews, so I thought maybe the scrub wasn't the cause for the sensitivity, but on the third use my scalp instantly felt very irritated when using and since then I've experienced scalp pain, itchiness and hair loss. After speaking to a doctor it appears that I've had a reaction to the scrub. In hindsight I probably shouldn't have tried this scrub for a third time seeing as I felt some sensitivity on the second use, however I thought I'd give the scrub the benefit of the doubt. Given that I've had a reaction, which I'm still suffering with 3 weeks later, I personally wouldn't recommend this scrub, but I can see why this can be liked seeing as it did work lovely on my first use.
