Good Stuff

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is a very good shampoo smells lovely like French rose soap. I would advice not too use too much as it can be drying for the hair. My scalp feels and looks fresh and clean, My hair looks voluminous, thick, strong and really healthy.

Very good product

I recived this paste with beauty box, and I love it. It makes my fine hair feel great, it adds to my hair little bit roughness, like someone else commented and I like it.

Great product, but don't use too much

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I got this in my beautybox a while ago, and after reading the other reviews thought i'd add my experience to the list. Perhaps this is not for everyone, but I absolutely love this stuff! I use a tiny little bit after my regular shampoo and foam it between my hands, then apply to scalp only, leaving the rest of my hair untreated. Yes, it makes my hair feel a little rough as well, but this makes it easier to style as my 'usual' hair is rather thin and slippery and won't stay put in any hairclip, updo or style. I am glad for the bit of roughness at the base and leave the rest light and airy to do as it will. Also great for a tousled, beachy look.

So unexpectedly good for oily scalp/hair

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

After reading the directions for this, I thought won’t work for me. But I tried it anyway. I’m in love. I have ridiculously oily hair/scalp, and skin in general. And I have pretty thick hair with a full head of it. And this actually worked really well. A previous review said that it stripped all the natural oil from the scalp, and perhaps that’s why it worked so well for me. When I use this, I use only a small amount of my regular shampoo before, then I take about a 1/2 tablespoon of this and really work it in my scalp, not letting it get down to the lower half of my hair. I rinse, then use conditioner, comb through, and then rinse again. Works so good. When I use this, I actually find that I can leave my hair unwashed for up to 3 days, which for me is unheard of! I’m lucky if I even go a full day without my hair needing a touch up with dry shampoo. Definitely some mixed reviews on this, but I love it.

I have never been more compelled to write a review after trying this. I got this sample in my beauty box and was excited to try it, as I have fine hair. I opened it and was amused that it looked more like face mask, but it smells HEAVENLY. Applied as directed and enjoyed the way it foams up. The problem comes once washed out, it feels like every bit of natural oil has been stripped from your hair. Brushing my hair was horrible, it was all tangled and brittle feeling. Once I dried my hair it made no difference to the volume and left my hair full of static. The rest of this will go straight in the bin!

Doesn't work for my hair type

This product makes my hair feel like straw and very oily. My hair is quite sensitive to hair products and I got it in a lookfantastic beautybox. Probably okay for people who have normal hair.

In love

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Tried it first after getting a sample in a beauty box and I love it, when I use this I don't use shampoo, just the paste in the roots and conditioner in the ends. I think it makes my hair feel and smell very nice and I love the feeling of it when I put it in my hair and how it exfoliates the scalp.

Disappointing

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

I received a sample of this in my beauty box and was excited to try it having fine highlighted naturally wavy hair. On opening my first impression was it looked like mud but smells gorgeous. It foams up really well, however it made my hair feel very rough and tangly despite washing carefully using the palm of my hands. I had to use a heavy duty intensive conditioner to be able put a comb through my hair. Despite this my hair felt horribly fluffy and frizzy after. I would never buy this product again and glad I did not fork out the money to get a full size version as I would be fuming!!!

I'm allergic to scent of this

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I'm allergic to scent of this, and it really bums me, because I really like the volume and feel what that paste shampoo did to my hair. I was first of little bit scared because that almost black and grany paste what I saw, but it works really well and if there wasn't the scent I would give it 5 stars.
