Directions of use:

Application tip!
So I thought I would write a review about the application and general feedback for Gatineau Tan Accelerating Lotion to share the smell and feel because I still have a week and a half until I go on holiday to see if I tan better and easier.... I will write a follow-up review when I return. Well I love the smell it's light almost fruity but not overpowering! I love the feel, it's dries quickly into a silly feel, like a moisturiser feel that's like my own skin and is 💯 NOT sticky, I feel like my own skin just better. Huge tip! I begin by applying it to my face with a cotton pad, I do this for quantity control and hygiene, I have skin that can breakout at a moments notice, I am day 4 of applying and fingers crossed haven't had a breakout.... I have been applying this as the last step in my skin routine before bed. Second huge tip! To apply to my body I use a clean/ new tanning mitt this makes sure I don't use too much product and I apply evenly, I think this gets the most out of the product as you have to use this for at least two weeks prior to a sunny holiday and it's quite expensive. So far I love Gatineau Tan Accelerating Lotion. I will write a further review when I return.

Worth the Hype
I used this for 2 weeks before going on holiday. Even in 45 degrees I did not burn, I went a little pink but it was tan by the following day and for the first time ever, I did not get dry skin or peel at all. I wouldn’t say I tanned faster usual but definitely darker. Smells lovely and makes your skin very smooth. I was really skeptical before using but I will definitely order again.

I’m quite fair skinned and never tan. I saw lots of reviews on this so thought I would give it a go- just to get a little more of a glow than I normally would on holiday. Unfortunately, this made no difference at all despite applying for a month before going on holiday. My skin did feel lovely and soft though

My go to moisturiser
I’ve been using this moisturiser for years now. Mostly because it has a light texture and absorbs well leaving my skin feeling moisturised but not greasy. As to the tan accelerating claims, it does tend to make my tan last longer and I don’t burn when in the sun.

Prep skin for the sun
I started using this a few years ago as I wasn’t really tanning when I went out in the sun and was really suffering with prickly heat.
