As fresh as an eau de cologne and as strong as an eau de parfum, L’Homme Idéal Cologne Forte holds paradoxes in harmony. A real style exercise for Delphine Jelk, Creative Director of Guerlain Fragrances & Perfumer, who unveils an unprecedented expression of almond through this dual eau de parfum. On one side, grapefruit notes deliver a burst of invigorating freshness at the top, creating a bitter-edged interplay of almond and citrus notes. On the other side, vetiver and incense come together to form a backdrop, offering the fragrance a deep woody warmth tinged with mystery. An unprecedented variation on L’Homme Idéal, the Cologne Forte embodies Guerlain’s virtuous approach by using alcohol made from French leguminous plants grown using responsible farming methods.

Facetted edges, pared-back lines: L’Homme Idéal’s historic bottle owes its harmonious lines to a model taken from the Maison’s archives. For this new limited edition, the metallic finish of its square label and the intense grey shade of the fragrance evoke the powerful freshness of this new composition.
