Blurring the lines between skincare and sun protection, the Kate Somerville HydraKate Illuminating SPF 50+ Drops provide broad-spectrum defence against UVA and UVB rays, while visibly brightening and clarifying the complexion.
The mineral sunscreen is crafted with 24.5% zinc oxide to shield the skin without leaving any white cast. Water-resistant for up to 80 minutes, the formula utilises sheer pigments to minimise the appearance of imperfections and balance tonal irregularities, alongside ectoin for a boost of hydration. The SPF blends seamlessly into the skin for a luminous, healthy-looking finish.
Active Ingredient: Zinc Oxide (24.5%).

I wanted to love this but I really don't like the way it feels. It's very greasy but doe absorb quickly, it definitely is great high protect as I have zero pink/burn on my face on holiday. It's not great under make up and feels like I have SPF on, I won't repurchase as there is definitely better. Another thing to note is that this isn't bad for a mineral spf, however it does stain clothes so beware if you're putting it your neck area.

AMAZING SPF
So happy I found this mineral SPF! I wanted to move away from chemical SPF so tried multiple expensive medical grade mineral SPFs that made my skin breakout. I've always loved Kate Somerville products so was excited to see she had made a mineral SPF. This one does not disappoint. It goes on smooth and even and leaves my skin looking glowing with no breakouts. Works perfectly under makeup. The zinc oxide has a slightly pink tone when first applied but soaks in well after a few minutes.

This is a good SPF. It goes on well, doesn’t pill with other skincare, but left my skin quite shiny and greasy. I have combination skin so is maybe a little heavy, would be better suited to a drier skin.
