Blurring the lines between skincare and sun protection, the Kate Somerville HydraKate Illuminating SPF 50+ Drops provide broad-spectrum defence against UVA and UVB rays, while visibly brightening and clarifying the complexion.
The mineral sunscreen is crafted with 24.5% zinc oxide to shield the skin without leaving any white cast. Water-resistant for up to 80 minutes, the formula utilises sheer pigments to minimise the appearance of imperfections and balance tonal irregularities, alongside ectoin for a boost of hydration. The SPF blends seamlessly into the skin for a luminous, healthy-looking finish.
Active Ingredient: Zinc Oxide (24.5%).

Would give 0 start if I could
Extremely disappointing. I had high hopes for this SPF, but it was a complete letdown. I have dry skin, and even then, I found this product to be excessively greasy and oily. It sat heavily on my skin and made me feel uncomfortable throughout the day. To make things worse, it leaves a noticeable white-to-pink cast The overall texture and finish is also terrible. I regret purchasing this product and won’t be repurchasing and would not recommend it at all

Amazing mineral sunscreen
I love this sunscreen, it’s the first mineral one I’ve tried but as I tan (I’m south Asian skin tone) I do get a white cast however it literally absorbs in a couple of minutes. I love the fact it’s tinted to block UV light but not too dark, I have dry skin and I’ve had no issues with the texture. I would definitely buy again. As it gets used up it can quite difficult to squeeze out.

I am of South Asian origin and was looking for a mineral sunscreen. This sunscreen is extremely moisturising and soaks in the skin straight away. Although the tint is light it only takes a few seconds to rub in.

I have a love / hate relationship with mineral based SPFs. I like this one (prob has to be my fave so far to be honest) but I don’t love it. I don’t get the lovely glow everyone seems to have when they have this one. It literally soaks into my skin and doesn’t look nice and glowy. I’d order again until I find a better one but mineral SPFs are complicated!
