Beware. Contains salicylic acid
I’ve used this a couple of times and felt my hairline was itchy. I stopped using it for a few weeks to confirm the shampoo was the cause. I used it again yesterday and my skin was irritated again. Only now I realise that this product contains salicylic acid, which I’m allergic to. I’ll have to give it to a friend. Also it gives off quite strong scents.

Superb shampoo
I have several Kerastase shampoos on my shelf - think they are an excellent brand for hair care. My hair is fine hair, was naturally blonde until my mid 40's, but needs "help" now to lighten it! I like to wash my hair every day - otherwise it can look a bit greasy and flat if I miss a day. Although I love the Kerastase range, the Elixir Ultime shampoo is the very best for my hair. It is not easy for my hair to look nice - it tends to fall flat and cling grimly to my scalp (!), but this shampoo gives it such shine without grease! I am so pleased with it and am happy to give such a glowing review!
