I absolutely adore this foundation and get so many compliments! This is now my second bottle and I don't doubt that I will buy a third. Lovely dewy finish but sets beautifully and doesn't budge. The lightweight feel is my favourite aspect, I've never been one to wear a foundation but this formula is light and hardly noticeable.

if you have dry skin, defo try this out!
i bought the shade barcelona because ifelt it would match my skin tone based on online swatches. &believe me when isay it was the most accurate guess ihave ever made. this foundation is definitely a game changer because it does stay in place for upto 14 hours with no touch ups needed. iwould describe my skin as dry and some days my skin becomes extra dry and flaky which is problematic bcos my previous foundations (estee lauder &EX1) would literally cling onto these dry patches and accentuate them even further. this foundation is more liquid based which ifeel is actually a good thing because you can layer it on without worrying about it looking to cakey. it's great for everyday use and ilove the bright yellowness it gives to my face sometimes. iwas initally worried that iwouldnt achieve that look bcos the shade stromboli does look more yellowy but idecided to stick to this shade. iam overall very happy with this bcos many people had complimented makeup without even knowing which foundation iwas wearing. it also gives you a luminous glow to your face which is why the foundation looks a lot more natural &that's a bonus considering my dry skin. for now this foundation is my holy grail, my next step is to find a good full coverage yet light concealer so my makeup maintains that flawless finish. one criticism is ido wish it was a little more yellow tone but other than that ifeel great in this foundation and it definitely suits people with dry skin, so if you are thinking about where to spend your money, the Nars foundation is definitely the one!

Holly grail foundation.
The only foundation apart EL DW light that last very long and covers well. Very good for all skin types, but more for normal-dry it has more of a dewy/satin rather than matte finish.

Finally, I found my HOLY GRAIL FOUNDATION for my dry to dry combination skin. It looks like skin, just better. I love it. It last all day, and look good in photos and in real life. It is semi-matte/natural with medium coverage that you can build up.

Nars first timer
I decided to purchase Sheer Glow after making the choice to only use cosmetics that are not tested on animals. Nars are a cruelty free brand and I've heard great things about this foundation. Pros: Excellent shade range especially for someone like me who is fair skinned Good coverage that is buildable to suit a variety of peoples needs/tastes A little bit of product goes a long way Not thick/cakey Cruelty free!! Cons: The cost The fact you have to purchase a pump separate On my normal/combination skin I do find that after wearing this foundation throughout my working day it can get really quite gross and oily around the nose and chin area. I've never had to use powder before but I think for me personally to use this foundation I will have to start powdering these areas after applying my foundation. However, this is not a big deal and most foundations tend to go a bit gross later on into the day. Overall, I do think that this is a great foundation and it is certainly worth a try at least once. I begrudged paying the full price for it but we'll see..maybe it'll be worth it.

Absolutely love this foundation, beautiful flawless coverage. The cream concealer by nars is also a fav of mine! I wear Barcelona with ginger for concealer. Will be my go to foundation now beats Mac by miles! Look fantastic were equally brilliant and when I needed to return the incorrect shade processed the return very quickly and refunded my account in under the 2 week time allowance. Would highly recommend for beauty purchases :) xx
