The Clear and Defend Plus Facial Wash is a refreshing formula that helps to cleanse the skin, encouraging a clarified, more radiant look. Neutrogena’s face wash is powered by a 4% AHA/PHA blend that helps to even the skin tone and soothe the appearance of blemishes.
A 2% concentration of glycolic acid seeks to minimise the appearance of discolouration caused by blemishes. Gluconolactone, a resurfacing agent, aims to refine the skin, while salicylic acid helps to remove excess sebum. Discover a balanced-looking complexion with this revitalising face wash.
- Application: Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly. Start with one application daily, then increase to two if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains an AHA that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Works well
I have tried this product for a couple of weeks now. I can say that it cleared the spots that I’ve had. Consistency of it is smooth, spreads well. It’s not sticky and washes off easily. Product definitely works. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Good for blemish prone skin
I have blemish prone skin and have been trying out this facial wash to see how it works for me. The face wash itself is clear and foams when massaging on to face with water. After using the face wash it does feel like it has cleansed my skin well, getting rid of any impurities that can lead to spots. However when I was using it once daily I found that my face felt much drier than usual. So I have now switched to using this every couple of days and I use a different gentle face wash for daily use. I haven’t noticed any new spots from using this, so it does seem like it is working. Just need to make sure to moisturise skin and use sun cream, as the active skin care ingredients like salicylic acid and glycolic acid can be harsh on the skin. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Great Facewash!
This facewash is gentle on my combination skin and eliminates oil in my oily areas. It does not irritate my skin and I am very happy with it. It is refreshing, light and smells good! It removed my makeup and my skin felt radiant and revitalised after use. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Gentle & soothing

Very good
I received this product a couple weeks ago and I have been using it non stop since then. I find that it foams up nicely, washes away easily, and leaves the face feeling soft and clean. Early days but effective wash
Only tried this tonight. Good effective cleanser to clean skin, but effects will take few days to see any difference I think. Want to control spots and red marks
