The Clear and Defend Plus Facial Wash is a refreshing formula that helps to cleanse the skin, encouraging a clarified, more radiant look. Neutrogena’s face wash is powered by a 4% AHA/PHA blend that helps to even the skin tone and soothe the appearance of blemishes.
A 2% concentration of glycolic acid seeks to minimise the appearance of discolouration caused by blemishes. Gluconolactone, a resurfacing agent, aims to refine the skin, while salicylic acid helps to remove excess sebum. Discover a balanced-looking complexion with this revitalising face wash.
- Application: Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly. Start with one application daily, then increase to two if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains an AHA that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Loved it!
I loved this cleanser! You don’t need to use much at all, then it foams up well and spreads around very easily. After washing off and drying, there was no residue like some other brands. This has really helped with my acne/scars and I would definitely recommend!! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Cleansing
I didn’t like the texture of the face wash, but this is personal preference. The spots on my face did improve and my face felt and looked clearer. (I cant say for certain if this was down to the face wash). I probably would recommend it if you struggle with acne! It seems kind on sensitive skin too! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Good but not amazing

Cleansing

Good but not for everyday use
I found the product worked well at clearing and preventing breakouts however I did find the product to be quite drying so this wouldn't be suitable for me for every day use. I think this would work well just for use when breakouts occur and using a more gentle cleanser in-between #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Skin cleanser
I have used this face wash everyday as part of my skincare routine. I have combination skin and this was effective in clearing my pores and preventing breakouts. I did find it a little drying on my skin at times, but not an issue when used with a good facial moisturiser. Overall an effective cleanser at an affordable price #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Deeply cleanses
This cleanser cleans skin very deeply thanks to its active ingredients. It does not have any smell which is helpful for those sensitive to fragrance in skincare. I use it as my second cleanse and in the morning and I have seen improvement in my hormonal spots which tend to disappear quicker than normally. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
