With a pH balance of 3.5-5, the weekly at-home treatment works to restore a satin-like shine and soft texture to dry, damaged hair. I used this atound once a week after getting my hair highlighted after a 6 month break (but I have had bleach in my hair for 20+ years). My hair is in generally good condition, but I wanted to try this after my hairdresser used olaplex during my appointment. I do think this helped maintain the condition of my hair & i had no breakage, but I don’t know how it would work for really damaged hair..
