Quality moisturiser
The skin felt really soft and hydrated after using the cream, it has a soft texture and I appreciate it's not full of perfume, it means it's a better quality cream. Satisfied with the sample product, will buy a full size one. Recommend

Not worth the hype
Scent was off-putting, smelled like old vaseline. Texture was too waxxy. Skin didn't feel worse but also not moisturised.

I'm in love!
I have temperamental combination skin - I'm 43, with rosacea, definite fine lines and ageing bits, but I also still have a lot of oiliness, enlarged pores and breakouts thanks to PCOS. As a result, I find it hard to strike a balance with skin care products as they can easily make me oilier and increase breakouts - I can honestly say this is one of the best moisturisers I've ever used, and I've tried a LOT!! I was initially surprised and slightly sceptical about the consistency; it's unlike anything I've ever use previously, almost like a melting cleansing balm, it definitely "melts" on contact with my face. I thought it would feel very heavy as a result, but was pleasantly surprised to find it was actually quite the contrary - it's light as a feather after it's melted in, and made my skin feel well-hydrated but with no greasy or sticky residue. It also made my fine lines immediately less visible and my skin looked overall more plump and firm - it even seemed to make my rosacea less noticeable as well, which I wasn't expecting! I've been using it daily since I got it (I was given a small sample to test) and I definitely see the lasting difference in my skin overall, I will be buying the full size as soon as the sample runs out. On that point, yet another brilliant feature is the fact that a tiny amount goes a long way, so although its not cheap, given how long it lasts, I think it's brilliant value for money. It also works brilliantly before applying makeup, no pilling or curdling here! I genuinely cannot fault this product as I've found it myself; however, I do wonder if some people with very dry skin may find it's not rich enough (only because it feels so light on my own oil-prone skin!) Also, although the fragrance is naturally-derived, according to the ingredients list, it's definitely got a noticeable scent. I love my products scented, so I'm happy this is the case, but I know there are a lot of folks don't feel the same way: I would say though, it's a very light and natural scent, it's not intensely heavy or noticeable. Finally, although I received the sample as a product tester, I am very rigid about testing products and reviewing them honestly, even if I don't like them or particularly have complaints about them, as I rely on reviews myself when making purchase decisions. This little powerhouse moisturiser is genuinely amazing, and I would happily say the same thing even if I'd paid for my sample pot. Can't recommend it highly enough and can't wait to get the full size pot!
