Redken Scalp Relief Dandruff Control Shampoo has a unique dry/wet formula that contains pyrithione zinc to efficiently help eliminate dandruff. The initial dry application targets dandruff, once water is applied, the scalp is clarified and cleansed to wash away dandruff.
Formulated with the powerful Hydro-Zone System that utilises lavender extract and glycerin to help soothe, calm and clarify your scalp, Redken Dandruff Control Shampoo purifies, moisturises and hydrates your dry scalp while soothing and calming.
Directions of use:
- Apply to your dry or wet hair.
- Massage into your scalp.
- Leave on for 5 minutes.
- Wet your hair and lather.
- Rinse thoroughly.
- For best results use at least twice a week.

Not for me
I did not have a great time with this shampoo to begin with. Far from reducing dandruff, I still had flakes after 2/3 weeks of using it every time I washed my hair. I did not feel there was any scalp relief either and could not agree with the good reviews I had read. However, after further use, the dandruff did subside a bit and my scalp felt a little less itchy. The shampoo has always left my hair feeling clean and it does lather up nicely. I will use this until I finish it, but otherwise will not repurchase as I still have dandruff, whether I shampoo once or twice, and the product is disappointing overall. This is the first Redken product I have ever used and it did not live up to the expectations that I had of the brand, I would not recommend this shampoo for dandruff sufferers.

Only thing that worked for me!
Since using hair oil my scalp seemed to become clogged with product (even with using deep cleanser weekly) and this resulted in a very dry scalp and dandruff. I'd tried the popular brand but it did nothing for me. Decided to splash out and try this and I'm so glad I did. Even after the first use I noticed a big difference. Have been using for about a month now and have said good bye to flakes and terribly itchy scalp! Hair looks great again.
