The award-winning Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream leaves skin with a smoother appearance and a sumptuously soft finish. Pronounced “boom boom” in Brazil and taking inspiration from the nation's obsession with body joy from head to toe, the body cream works to visibly firm thanks to a nourishing cocktail of ingredients.
The formula is enriched with guaraná extract, five times as rich in caffeine as coffee, cupuaçu butter, açaí oil and coconut oil, delivering deep hydration and nourishment to the skin. It locks in moisture for long-lasting suppleness and a radiant glow. Scented with the iconic Cheirosa ’62 fragrance, combining notes of pistachio, salted caramel and vanilla, the body cream will leave skin feeling and smelling irresistible.

I don't get the hype
I'm not sure I understand the hype with this. I was seeing it mentioned loads so finally caved to the pressure and bought the small one to try. It's a thick moisturiser which seems ok, though maybe not as well absorbed as I'd want, especially at this price. I also find the smell really unpleasant. It's quite overpowering but I think there's also this chemically smell to it, a bit like what you get in some sunscreens. I was really expecting to be wowed by this and to never want to use any other body moisturiser but it's not for me and it's definitely not worth the price. I have quite dry skin and there are far better moisturisers on the market at a much better price. I definitely wouldn't recommend or buy this again.
