The Squalane Cleanser from The Ordinary transforms from a rich balm to a clear oil-like texture when warmed between the fingers, working to melt away unwanted residue without disrupting the skin’s natural oils.
The scientifically developed formula offers a gentle yet thorough cleanse, effectively removing makeup, including waterproof formulas, along with daily impurities and excess oil. Enriched with plant-derived squalane and lipophilic esters, the balm helps nourish the skin, while delivering lasting hydration. Suitable for all skin types, including dry, sensitive and blemish-prone, the non-greasy formula leaves skin feeling soft, smooth, and nourished after every use.
- Application: Dispense product into hands. Rub together to warm the product, allowing it to melt into an oil. Massage well onto dry face and rinse with warm water.

Amazing! BUT..
Such a gorgeous consistency and takes makeup off so easily. Feels amazing on the skin, skin feels nourished and soft aftwards. However, this did give me closed comedones all over my forehead. It has also made me break out all over my cheeks and chin. It could just be that this product didn’t agree with me, or that i didn’t wash it off correctly (but i did always do a second cleanse afterwards) Think this is great for a makeup remover, but maybe not an every day cleanser as it potentially could cause issues to acne prone skin.
