The Squalane Cleanser from The Ordinary transforms from a rich balm to a clear oil-like texture when warmed between the fingers, working to melt away unwanted residue without disrupting the skin’s natural oils.
The scientifically developed formula offers a gentle yet thorough cleanse, effectively removing makeup, including waterproof formulas, along with daily impurities and excess oil. Enriched with plant-derived squalane and lipophilic esters, the balm helps nourish the skin, while delivering lasting hydration. Suitable for all skin types, including dry, sensitive and blemish-prone, the non-greasy formula leaves skin feeling soft, smooth, and nourished after every use.
- Application: Dispense product into hands. Rub together to warm the product, allowing it to melt into an oil. Massage well onto dry face and rinse with warm water.

This cleanser is an absolute dream. I have combo skin but in winter it leans more on the drier side so I need to be a bit less harsh with my routine. I have tried several "milky" type cleansers (SVR, Clarins, La Roche Posay, Caudalie to name a few) but this one comes out on top. Firstly, the texture on this is LUSH. It's balmy without being heavy or thick and turns into an oil-like texture (but not oily) as you rub it on your face. Skin doesn't feel stripped after but soft and hydrated.
