I feel conned…
I feel conned and completely taken in by the current excessive hype that surrounds this eyeshadow. Firstly, the cost is very high for a single eyeshadow. I was prepared to overlook this as it promised to be like no other. The eyeshadow itself had what I can only describe as a slightly emollient, sparkly top ‘layer’. This did produce an apricot toned sparkly eyeshadow which was quite nice, however, it did leave a slight yellow stain on my finger for a while. Then, once I swatched again, using my finger, the top layer was completely removed and it revealed a less sparkly eyeshadow, in a more neutral toned eyeshadow, with a lot less ‘grip’ and staying power. To be honest, I prefer the more lighter, neutral tone that was revealed, but it was just a very dry, average topper, with excessive fall out. Definitely do not recommend this.
