Applying with a cooling, refreshingly light gel texture, the Vichy Minéral 89 Moisture Matte Sorbet provides up to 48 hours of skin-plumping hydration.
Suitable for all skin types, especially oily and combination, the moisturiser combats dryness with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, while Vichy’s volcanic water protects against environmental aggressors such as pollution. The gel’s blend of mattifying powders and salicylic acid diminishes the appearance of excess oil and shine, leaving the complexion with a soft-focus finish.

Good for non-makeup users
I recently tried the Vichy Minéral Matte Sorbet Face Cream, and I have mixed feelings about it. The cream has a very light gel consistency, which feels amazing when applied to the skin! My skin felt so hydrated, without feeling greasy/tacky. However, I had major issues with pilling. Despite the fast absorption, it didn’t layer well with makeup at all, which was frustrating (especially when in a rush for work in the morning). For me, the pilling detracts from the overall performance. I’m not sure whether I’d recommend it, especially for those who like to layer products…

Lovely texture
Loved the texture of this and found it absorbed well and left my skin feeling hydrated. It felt light on my skin but moisturised well. Likes the pot too and was easy to open so not sure any improvements were necessary

Amazing
I recently tried the Vichy Minéral 89 48H Moisture Matte Sorbet and was really impressed by how well it worked for my combination skin. The texture is light and refreshing, and it instantly mattified my skin without feeling heavy or greasy. My pores looked visibly minimized right after applying it, which was a nice bonus! What I love most is how long-lasting the hydration is. It kept my skin hydrated for the full 48 hours as promised, and I noticed that my skin didn’t get oily throughout the day like it usually does. The cooling effect was also really soothing, especially during warmer weather. It helped control excess sebum without clogging my pores or causing any breakouts, which can be a concern for me. Overall, this is definitely a keeper in my skincare routine—it hydrates, mattifies, and leaves my skin feeling balanced all day.

Minimises pore and hydrates
I was sceptical about the gel like texture but was pleasantly surprised. There was a definite cooling effect and after the initial sticky feel as the cream was absorbed my skin felt smooth and soft. The pores around my problem areas of nose and chin were minimised and I didn't get my usual dry patches. It goes a long way and I didn't need to use too much to apply generously. I had no adverse skin reaction but couldn't really test the 48 hour hydration claim as I used the cream morning and night as directed.

Fantastic moisturiser for oily skin
I thoroughly enjoyed testing this product, having oily skin it can be a struggle to find a moisturizer that's actually hydrating but doesn't cause the skin to become oily/greasy! The texture is light, not sticky and sinks into the skin well before mattifying - I would 100% recommend!

very versatile cream
Its very wonderful cream because it makes my skin shinny and keep it moisturised all day. Its very light cream and get absorbed onto skin very quickly also matter dries very quickly so leave no reside. I feel like this product have all i need for skin.

Lovely cream
Loved this cream, it soaks in straight away and left my skin feeling lovely and soft and it definitely helped to make my greasy skin much more mattified!

Instant Cooling
Absolutely thrilled to have been sent this Vichy Matte Sorbet face cream, the look of the sorbet is like gel and has a nice texture, as soon as you apply it to your face it has an instant cooling effect that feels so amazing its like splashing cold water on your face. Its super fast absorbing and I could feel the tightening of my pores straight away which is great benefit. The lasting oil protection was also great as over the course of the day my face had no oil build up. I will definitely be using this product in the future along with the night gel.

Brilliant face cream!
I’ve loved using this! Firstly.. the packaging looks premium and the cream is in a good quality jar which is always a plus especially if buying as a gift etc. Secondly.. I absolutely LOVE the texture of this product, I feel addicted to scooping it! It also really does melt into the skin leaving it super soft and non greasy, and does actually give a slight blur effect. My new fave face cream!

Nice product
My first time trying a sorbet formula and I really enjoyed the texture it was very light and cooling for summer. Hydrating but not greasy and makeup sat nicely on top. At the time I started I was dealing with oilier skin than usual and this seemed to help.
