Applying with a cooling, refreshingly light gel texture, the Vichy Minéral 89 Moisture Matte Sorbet provides up to 48 hours of skin-plumping hydration.
Suitable for all skin types, especially oily and combination, the moisturiser combats dryness with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, while Vichy’s volcanic water protects against environmental aggressors such as pollution. The gel’s blend of mattifying powders and salicylic acid diminishes the appearance of excess oil and shine, leaving the complexion with a soft-focus finish.

Vichy 48hr Matte Moisturiser is Matte!
I have true combination skin, very oily on t-zone, chin and sides of nose and dry around eyes and nasobial lines. I struggle to get a moisturiser that provides enough moisture to my dry areas without being too greasy on my oily areas. This moisturiser however manages this - however I do add a very moisturising cream to under eyes first because I’m I’m wedded to doing so. What amazed me about this moisturiser was how matte it dried to be without my skin feeling or looking dry! The other huge plus point for people with combination skin is that you can use this moisturiser with a dewy foundation rather than a matte foundation (which I find settles in to fine lines more and ages you). So this has meant I can use my favourite foundation over all my face rather than two separate products. Did it hydrate? Yes very much so. Did my skin look matte afterwards? Yes and it was a perfect base for makeup. Importantly it didn’t clog pores or pil when applying makeup. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful cream
This cream is amazing it feels like butter to touch ,you lr skin feels plump and moisturised after use and it is fast absorbing too.I like the fact it disent leave a shiny look to my face I love the matt look and feel off it .

Fantastic
This moisturiser is so good, I have combination skin, and this really worked. The mattifying claim holds true, I'm a nurse and it can get really hot on the ward, and my skin can start to get shiny with this I had no concerns about having a shiny face because I didn't. The moisturiser itself was cooling on my face when applying it, the moisturiser sank into to my skin quickly and did not leave a sticky residue. The other good thing about the cream is that it did not cause me any breakouts. It left me with with soft, supple, and a shine free face highly recommended this product your skin will thank you for it.

Easily absorbed
This product is easily absorbed and does reduce the oily appearance of the skin. It is nice and cooling and my face did feel really well moisturised. the pining to the jar is quite narrow and could do with being bigger or maybe would be better in a pump dispenser.

So far so good!
Really nice moisturiser with a gorgeous velvety matte texture but glides on the skin. Reminds me of the Clinique moisture surge! So far it’s really helped clear up some dry patches and I’m looking forward to continuing to use it!

Noticeable improvement in skin texture
I've been on the hunt for a daily moisturizer that truly suits my oily face and I've finally found it in the Vichy mineral 49 48h matte sorbet face cream From the moment I first applied it, I noticed a difference. The texture is beautifully light, smells so good and creamy, absorbing quickly and leaving my skin feeling instantly plump and refreshed. My wife noticed a difference after few days of using the cream, she said this cream suits you. I will recommend Vichy mineral 49 48h matte sorbet face cream any day and any time

Lovely feeling
The packaging is nice , the cream has a nice texture and doesn't have a over powering smell. It feels lovely on the skin and leaves it looking lovely. If you like your skin to look Matte this is for you

VICHY FACECREAM
Great face cream super nice feel on the face nice and matte finish just as described and it really does work for up to 48 hours however the effect only very slightly goes away over time and I would one hundred percent recommend that if you haven't tried this you should definitely try it as it may just become part of your routine.

Good quality face cream
This is a nice, relatively lightweight face cream with a lovely fresh smell that applies smoothly and absorbs quickly. I don't think it lasts for 48 hours, but it definitely lasts for a full day, and is very effective. Price depending, I'd definitely buy again!
