Designed to address the needs of allergic and reactive skin types (for whom fragrance and strong surfactants are not an option), the gentle shampoo was originally formulated to be gentle enough for those undergoing chemo/radiation therapies; inspired by Philip's wife when she was battling breast cancer. The fragrance free formula sweeps away dirt and impurities to leave hair looking shiny, smooth and easier to style; its dose of Glycerides moisturises while improving manageability.
Suitable for daily use, the extra gentle formula will leave hair feeling soft and glossy.
Ideal for sensitive, delicate or easily irritated scalps.
Free from fragrance, colour, parabens and SLS.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Apply to wet hair and lather, gently kneading the scalp for 60 seconds. Rinse well and repeat if necessary. Follow with the appropriate Philip Kingsley Conditioner and Scalp Toner.

Not good for cancer patients!
I have very advanced skin cancer, I've have had multiple surgeries on my head and am going through cancer treatment at the moment. I brought this because it was recommended to me... but I'm so disappointed! It takes a lot to lather up (I had to wash twice, which is really annoying given the state of my head after surgery). It also made my hair really greasy which meant I had to wash it sooner than I would normally. It makes my hair SUPER knotty, which is really painful to detangle with all the nerve damage on my scalp. I'm really gutted because I thought this would be great but I find cheaper alternatives much better.

Not great
I have skin cancer and have gone through multiple brain operations, so I bought this shampoo hoping it was going to be easy-going on my scalp and hair (despite the number 2 ingredient being SLS!). The good thing is it is probably gentle on the scalp, BUT it is not good at cleaning hair. I had to shampoo twice to get my hair clean, and then it got greasy much quicker than normal, which means I have to wash my hair more often. Not ideal when you have wound damage everywhere! It made the ends of my hair super tangly and dry too. I would NOT buy this again - such a shame, and so expensive!

Extremely disappointed!
I just received my No Scent No Colour Shampoo and while going through the list of ingredients I was surprised to find that this shampoo is no longer Sodium Laureth Sulfate free!! This harsh chemical even comes in second in the list of ingredients ( the ingredients are listed in order of quantity). I am extremely disappointed and feel cheated!

Good simple shampoo
I'm half way through this shampoo. I have slightly oily scalp with dry hair. This cleans well without being drying. The ingredient list is very short (which is great for sensitive scalp), might be the best, no-fuss cleanser for hair and scalp, especially sensitive. Occassionally i'd add tea tree essential oil onto my palm and lather. Plan to repurchase the large 1 litre bottle but is not in stock for the pass month... please restock it!!!

Sensitive scalp
I had a severe allergic reaction to an organic shampoo I bought a couple of years ago which has meant that I now have to be careful which products I use on my hair. I would like to add that I do not suffer from any other allergy and do not have sensitive skin. My sister recommended Phillip Kingsley to me so I tried it and it worked. I'd been using Phillip Kingsley Moisture Balance range for a year and I was very happy with it, but I decided that as my scalp wasn't a problem any more I would save some money and go ahead and use the family shampoo. BAD IDEA. I went to my usual hairdresser and she told me I had what looked like Psoriasis, my head was so inflamed. I was devastated. I immediately researched Phillip Kingsley products and decided upon the No Scent No Colour range. I can honestly say that from the first wash I felt better and my scalp did not feel tight. This is now my hero product and I really can't afford not to use it. I have also recommended it to a friend who was just suffering with a slightly dry scalp and she reported the same feeling of wellness.
