I have to try using this again but my first use was not as great as other reviews had suggested. My hair felt clumpy and sticky with this gel and my curls felt glued down. The smell is quite medicinal and a little too strong for my liking. I did like that it comes in a generous package and I like the ethics of the company.

Great lightweight gel
This gel is great for my fine wavy/curly hair and find doesn’t weigh it down at all. Cast isn’t as strong as other gels but for me this is a positive as I have greasy scalp so find this gel gives nice results on day one whereas with other harder hold gels I don’t like the finish until day 2 find other casts hard to break until slept on. Not a fan of Aveda scent generally but that is a personal opinion as know others love it but it doesn’t linger in hair regardless. Great gel for my hair & don’t find the water soluble silicones an issue either.
