Aveda Be Curly Style-Prep makes styling simple and leaves hair soft, not “crunchy”. Wheat protein and organic aloe blends expand when hair is wet and retracts when dry to intensify curl or wave. Organic baobab and babassu oil and macadamia nut help seal and soften hair. Guar bean and plant-derived cellulose help maintain curly styles throughout the day, whilst certified organic lime, lemon, bergamot and orange create a light, refreshing aroma.
Directions of use:
- Apply daily after Aveda Be Curly Shampoo and Conditioner.
- To prepare hair for styling work a small amount of product in hands, apply evenly through damp hair and comb to distribute. Do not rinse out.
- Style with Aveda Be Curly Curl Enhancer to intensify curl, fight frizz and boost shine.
- To reactivate curls on non-shampoo days, dampen your hair and apply.

Excellent
Aveda Be Curly Style-Prep is excellent. It works really well on my naturally curly, frizzy hair. I usually wear my hair straight, but when I do wear it curly I use this. I was a bit sceptical that this product would not live up to its great reviews, as I have tried so many other products in the past. However, I was really pleased with the product. I use it together with the conflixor, followed by a small amount of the curl friend curl cream. I have tried both of these products previously without the style prep, but they do not work as well without it. The style prep helps to give my hair a natural, conditioned, soft finish. It does not make my hair crispy or hard like some products for curly hair. I find that all of the Aveda products for curly hair work really well for me. I would highly recommend them all.

Great serum
Love this Aveda Be Curly Style-Prep serum! It lasts all day and with the additional Aveda shampoo/conditioner and curl enhancer - works a treat!

Not the best
I'm not sure if I like Aveda Be Curly Style-Prep. I have used it for about three weeks and have tried different application and styling ways, but I'm not super satisfied. I wanted my natural waves/loose curls to be a bit more defined or enhanced but the effect is minimal, plus it leaves an unpleasant greasy residue. The hair tips dry out almost instantly when the product is applied, and they look frizzy. One way I found is to apply it together with a moisturising leave-in conditioner that makes hair soft and hydrated. A small amount is essential (one, maximum 2 clicks), otherwise the hair is too 'glued'.

Great lightweight product
I love everything about Aveda Be Curly Style-Prep. I have very curly hair and it is always a battle to find the perfect balance between moisture and not overloading the hair which pulls the curls flat. I would love it if Aveda did not use animal products though - when they stop using them it will get five stars.

Avenda Be Curly Style-Prep
I have got rather curly hair and this certainly takes the frizz out of it and becomes individual little curls which looks a lot better. It makes my hair feel really nice and does not leave the hair sticky like some products I have tried in the past. Use a small amount each time and it has a nice delicate perfume. I would certainly recommend it to anyone with curly hair.

Aveda Be Curly Style-Prep is great, you put it on before styling and if you didn't want to wash your hair the next day, you just slightly wet it and re-apply to get your style back.

A gift from heaven for curly heads
I discover this product at an Aveda store in Chicago this year, one of the sales lady had gorgeous curly hair. I told her I was using Be Curly and that I loved it, she said "wait until you add the Be Curly Style Prep to your styling routine, you will think that you are dreaming". So I bought one and indeed, it's a gift from heaven, it helps define your curls and avoid tangles while it preps them prior to Be Curly. The results are incredible, I love the fact that I'm frizz free, despite the fact that I live in Holland where the weather does not help your hair style. Try it and you will be then saying the same!
