Refresh your complexion with the CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser. Featuring a lightweight gel-to-foam texture, the gentle formula thoroughly cleanses and refines the skin, without leaving your base feeling stripped or tight.
The daily cleanser is enriched with three essential ceramides, niacinamide and 2% salicylic acid to help buff away dead skin cells and reduce the appearance of imperfections. Powered by oil-absorbing technology, hectorite clay diminishes excess sebum to promote a more mattified appearance, while helping to replenish essential moisture.

- Application: Use pump applicator to apply to wet hands and massage into the skin. Rinse thoroughly. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

I like this cleanser. I’m 46 and have suffered with acne from being a teenager. I have tried everything, I’ve finally found a routine which keeps my skin clear(ish) for most of the month, but around the time of my period, I break out. Horrible spots along my jaw and on my chin. Hormonal acne! In the morning I just use this, then The Ordinary Niacinamide followed by Avene Blemish Moisturiser. In the evening I use this as part of an elaborate double cleansing routine (I need a longer time for the routine). It’s a good cleanser for blemish prone skin - it removes the dirt and grime of the day. However, I found it made my skin feel tight after using (a problem I always have with cleansers where I have to use water). I’m willing to put up with this for the results it gave me - a clearer, smoother looking complexion with less blackheads. My skin felt soft after use. I still had spots around my hormonal time but there was definitely less and they cleared up quicker than normal. I’m pleased with this product, I’ll continue to use. It’s good value. I’d also try other products in the range quite happily.

Makes a difference
Use it as a body wash and somehow this works better for me than LRP Effaclar or the Uriage counterpart. As a face wash, only occasionally, it worked fine. Not a cure-all, but makes a visible difference both to the back acne and KP on my arms. Leave it on your body for about 4mins before rinsing off to really benefit from the ingredients. Didn't eradicate my problems but made a significant improvement and every time it runs out my skin gets much worse. I usually prefer fragranced gels, but if it works, I'm sticking to it. Repurchase, always in my shower.
